Plenty of Labor, (P.O.L.) is a connection point with the intent of connecting people who can supply labor, for people that need a hand with tasks.

To be a member of Plenty of Labor, it is understood that P.O.L. is not an agency for workers or people requiring assistance. P.O.L. is simply a mobile app that connects people, connects communities. These Terms apply to anyone that is accessing the application from any location.

1. PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE ACCESSING OR USING THE SERVICES.

Your access and use of the Services provided by P.O.L., constitutes your agreement to be bound by these Terms, which establishes a contractual relationship between you and P.O.L.. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Services. These Terms will be updated on an ongoing basis and expressly supersede prior agreements or arrangements with you.

P.O.L. may immediately alter / update / terminate these Terms or any Services with respect to anyone using the service. By not agreeing, you will not have access to the Services or any portion thereof, at any time for any reason.

P.O.L. is not responsible for any issues raised between parties looking for work, or those that need work done. P.O.L. is not an arbitrator of disputes. If there are issues of concern that we should be aware of, there are mechanism to report an individual. Any moneys owed, any work that isn’t done right, or any disputes of that nature, is not the responsibility of P.O.L..

Our collection and use of personal information in connection with the Services is as provided in P.O.L.’s Privacy policy located at P.O.L. Privacy policy.

P.O.L. will provide legally required information to authorized agencies.

2. P.O.L. The Service

P.O.L. provides a mobile application(s) to indicate workers wanting work, and someone that needs a hand.

There is not other obligation of P.O.L. to provide anything outside of that scope.

3. Your Use of the Application

User Accounts.

P.O.L. is a network of community minded people that are “Saving the planet One Odd Job at a Time” You must comply with our standards to be active in the P.O.L. Army.

You must be the legal age to be looking for odd jobs. If you’re under 18 and wish to assist, you can if you have your parents, or guardians written permission. (Supplied to us and on file)

You must supply when registering a recent photograph of you, not your cat, not your dog.

You must supply when registering a current phone number. That phone number must have been active for 3 years. You must agree to accept SMS messages from P.O.L..

4. Clean and neat appearance. The work you’re going to do is work of pride.

P.O.L. uses a rating system to ensure the quality of your work, members of the P.O.L. army are expected to exemplify quality and a community first attitude. It is P.O.L.s discretion to deactivate an account based on the fact they are not up to the standards set by P.O.L.. Yes, we understand that you’re not providing your service in a suite. There is a difference between using work clothing

5. P.O.L. App

The P.O.L. app is supplied on an “AS IS” basis and is a work in progress with improvements happening on an on-going basis. It is understood that you will keep your app always updated.

6. Local / Federal laws

You agree to be current on local laws, by-laws, statutes, building code or whatever regulations are in affect in the area (condo regulations) and standard business practices. Safety is a must and your access to the system will be revokes if it is found out that you violate these rules. You are not an employee of Plenty of Labor and it is incumbent of you to ensure you report ALL income where applicable. 

7. Subscription

Your subscription to the app must be paid in advance in full and is non-refundable. Your access to the system will be terminated if your subscription is not paid on time. If you wish to access the app of P.O.L. and you’re under the legal age in your jurisdiction, you can do so if you have parental consent.
